Question by chillinandworken: Scared of getting Fibromyalgia?
I’m a male and have generalized anxiety disorder. Lately I have been scared that I will get fibromyalgia. The anxiety is really getting to me and I’m afraid of pain. I already have upper back neck and arm muscle pain. No tender points though. Should I be worried about getting it?

my mom has fibromyalgia and yeah, it does hurt but it defenitly depeneds on what weather you live in we used to live where it was cold now we live where it warm and she is feeling sooo much better now she hurts rarely… but of course she getts her flair ups were all she wants to do is lay in bed but … hey thats life….srry…and good luck

Question by EngineerB: back pain in the morning spondylothesis fusion surgery?
I have back pain in the morning. It gets better in couple of hours after I move around. It increased a lot during stress. Doctors recommend a fusion surgery as x-ray shows grade 1 spondylothesis. I have diabetes. I would like to know if anybody has this surgery and if it worked.

I had the surgery two years ago and it helped a lot. I got to the place that I could hardly walk with out wanting to cry. I had L5 and S1 fused and I feel a lot better. I was unlucky enough not to have enough bone on one side and had to wear a brace for six months. But all in all it was not that bad. I fractured two bones in my back about six months before my surgery and they healed well before I had it.Good luck and I hope you will think this over and go for it. I’m sure you will feel better.

I had my daughter 4/2/09. I had an epidural. I am still having terrible back pain 9 moths later. I don’t really want to take pain medication. Is there something I can do to help ease my pain? Also could it be caused from the epidural?

I had an epidural and it never bothered me after I left the hospital. This was 5 years ago though. You should see a doc soon

Question by John M: Help i fucked up the sound on my laptop?
Stupidly of me i tried to hook speakers up to my laptop then a box came up on my screen with sound options so i messed around with a few options to try and get the speakers working( i forget what i did) .

I was unsuccessful so i went back to using the build in laptop speaker/ my earphones and now some sounds don’t work and others do.

When i play a strategy game the backround music works but not the unit battle sounds or animation and all my songs on windows media player play but they make no sound what so ever. Yet when i get the same song and put it in windows movie maker it plays fine and i can hear it perfectly.

I’ve totally fucked up my sound on this laptop. Please help!!! is there one magic button that will reverse all of this pain I’ve caused for myself.

try downloading the audio drivers for your laptop and re-installing them.

That in itself may sort out the problem.

you’ll have to google the model number and audio driver
